The Problem With “Trust Us”
The research-peptide market runs on claims. Every seller says their material is tested. Every website shows a purity number. Very few connect that number to the specific batch sitting in your hands.
That gap matters. A Certificate of Analysis describes one batch, produced on one date, tested by one lab. A “representative” COA from some previous lot, or a stock certificate with no lot number at all, describes nothing you actually received.
Our position is simple: a quality claim you can’t check isn’t a quality claim. It’s decoration. So we built the checking into the product itself.
How Lot Verification Works
The system has three connected parts, and they all point at the same underlying document.
1. The COA in the Box
Every order ships with a printed, lot-specific Certificate of Analysis. It’s issued by an independent, US-accredited third-party lab and covers three assays: HPLC purity, mass-spec identity confirmation, and endotoxin (LAL) testing. The lot number on the certificate matches the lot number on your vial.
2. The QR Code on the Insert
The product insert in every box carries a QR code. Scan it and you’re taken to a short URL in the form /v/{lot}, a public verification page dedicated to that one lot. The page shows the same lab results as the paper in your box: purity percentage, expected versus observed mass, endotoxin result, test dates, and the issuing lab.
Because the URL is built from the lot number itself, there’s nothing to search for and nothing to match up by hand. The vial tells you its own address.
3. The Public COA Library
Every certificate we publish also lives in our online COA library, browsable by product and lot. Want to see the testing history for GHK-Cu or NAD+ across multiple batches before you order? It’s all there, for anyone, including people who have never bought from us.
Three routes, one source of truth. The paper in the box, the page behind the QR code, and the library entry all reference the same lab report for the same lot. If they ever disagreed, you’d catch us. That’s the point.
Why We Built It This Way
We could have stopped at “COA available on request.” Most sellers do. We didn’t, for a few deliberate reasons.
Verification should cost the buyer nothing. Not an email, not a support ticket, not a wait. If checking our work takes effort, fewer people will do it, and a transparency system nobody uses is theater. Scanning a code takes four seconds.
Public pages can’t be quietly edited for one customer. A PDF emailed on request can, in principle, say whatever that seller wants it to say that day. A public page tied to a lot number is visible to everyone at once, permanently. Publishing our results this way removes our own ability to fudge, which is exactly the constraint a buyer should want their supplier operating under.
The lot is the honest unit of quality. Peptide synthesis is a batch process. Purity varies lot to lot, even for the same compound from the same lab. Reporting at the lot level is the only resolution at which a purity number is actually true. Anything coarser is an average wearing a lab coat.
As we sometimes put it internally: transparency isn’t a marketing feature, it’s infrastructure. It has to be built into how the product moves, or it doesn’t exist.
What to Check When You Scan
The verification page is designed to be read in under a minute. Here’s the quick pass:
- Lot match. The lot number on the page equals the lot number printed on your vial and on the boxed COA.
- Purity with method. The HPLC result appears alongside how it was measured, not as a bare percentage.
- Identity. Expected and observed mass agree within tolerance.
- Endotoxin. An LAL result in endotoxin units with its specification limit.
- Lab and dates. A named, accredited third-party lab and a timeline that makes sense.

What Lot Verification Doesn’t Do
Honesty cuts both ways, so let’s be clear about the limits. Lot verification tells you what an independent lab measured in a sample from your batch: purity, identity, endotoxin level. It’s a documentation system, not a magic seal.
It doesn’t grade other sellers’ material. It doesn’t make any claims beyond the analytical results on the page. And it doesn’t replace your own diligence; it just makes that diligence fast enough to actually happen.
