Lipo-C (MIC-B12) is a four-component lipotropic blend: Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and Methylcobalamin (the methyl form of B12). Also sold under the names “MIC-B12” and “Lipo-Pure.” It’s the classic compounding-pharmacy fat metabolism cocktail.
What’s in it and why. Each component handles a different research target. Methionine donates methyl groups for the methylation cycle and homocysteine recycling. Inositol shows up in phospholipid signaling and insulin-sensitization research. Choline is the precursor for phosphatidylcholine, which cells need to package and ship fat out via VLDL particles. Methylcobalamin is the active B12 form, working alongside methionine in one-carbon metabolism.
Lipo-C vs the standalone B12 (Cyanocobalamin) we sell. They’re related but distinct. The B12 in Lipo-C is the methyl form, and it’s blended with three other compounds for lipotropic-pathway research. The standalone B12 product is pure cyanocobalamin (the stable reference-standard form) with no other components. Different research applications, different formulations.
